Our Team

Nick Cottrill BSc (Hons) FCA ATT

Nick qualified in a large regional practice in Nottingham and then worked for 9 years in the public sector auditing and advising local authorities, NHS organisations and other public sector bodies. He returned to the private sector in 2009. He now specialises in owner managed businesses, general tax advice and real estate investment. In order to ensure high quality tax advice can be delivered to clients, Nick recently updated his tax knowledge gaining distinctions in the Association of Tax Technician exams. His hobbies are football, running and skiing.

Aimie Cottrill

For many years, Aimie held the position of Deputy Managing Director for Hobbs Ltd, the ladies fashion retailer based in London. She was a key member of the team that saw the business go from a small chain in London to a well known national chain. She subsequently, following the sale of the company, moved to Derby to get married and start a family. She has a wealth of experience in retail and ladies fashion and is an experienced bookkeeper. She is also the treasurer for the local pre-school.
